final Exam
1. In creating Art, I used many different materials. I used the rib to smooth the clay often. I used the xacto to carve shapes into clay. I used the rolling pin to flatten clay.
2. When I first came into sculpture, I did not know how to use any clay tools. I first learned how to use the slab roller until it broke, and I used the rolling pin. I understood how to flatten clay. I know how how to turn a clay ball into a slab.
My favorite clay material to use was clay. I enjoyed the texture and ability to shape. When the clay was really wet, you could shape it really thin. When it was dry, it had the ability to be fired.

my project that was the least successful was the coil bowl. It kept cracking and falling apart. If I were to do it over, I would keep the clay wet to prevent cracking. The coils were successful, they just didn't fit together well.
My project that was the most successful was the leaf. The theme was fall. I picked a leaf from outside, and pressed it into the clay. I then shaped the clay into a crinkled leaf shape. I then colored the leaf a fall color after it was fired.
